Founded by Victor Nieuwenhuijs and Maartje Seyferth, industry veterans with over 40 years of combined experience, Moskitofilm is renowned for creating and producing a wide range of cinematic gems.

From feature films such as the surreal drama of 'Cat and Mouse' (2015-2017), where a young girl uncovers painful family secrets, to the absurdist noir of 'Meat' (2010), which delves into the perverse fantasies of a troubled butcher.
Among their standout works, is the feature film 'Crepuscule' (2009), follows the journey of a timid young woman in the city, revealing her inner transformation amidst urban landscapes.
In the last 30 years, they have made a wide range of short films, documentaries, and co-productions. Examples include 'Armando,' a sensitive and poetic documentary, and their co-production of the Chinese feature film 'Frozen,' directed by Wang Xiaoshuai.

Maartje Seyferth and Victor Nieuwenhuijs began collaborating on films in 1985, and in 1987, they founded MOSKITO FILM.
They have produced over 40 feature films, short films, documentaries, and co-productions.
